Made in a kitchen where there is gluten. Not suitable for celiac. I use Bob's Red Mill one-for-one GF flour as the only change in this recipe.
Start with good, salted Vermont butter. Then add sugar, eggs, perfectly over-ripe bananas, chopped up Belgian chocolate. Topped with a coconut crumble.
This was originally my mother's banana bread recipe from when I was a kid. I've jazzed it up a bit with chocolate.
The gluten-free version does NOT have the coconut crumble topping.
